CHRIS CASSIDY
Chris is an award-winning filmmaker and Director of Photography with over 25 years of experience. Specializing in documentary-style storytelling, he brings a creative perspective to his work and has a lifelong passion for shooting music and live concerts. Chris collaborates with a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 1000 companies and tech startups to indie musicians and Grammy-winning bands.
Recently, Chris co-directed the documentary Service and Sacrifice, currently featured at the Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, D.C. His film Dennis and Lois, about legendary rock ‘n’ roll super fans, is streaming on major platforms and was highlighted in The New York Times. Chris also served as Director of Photography for Side by Side, a documentary produced by Keanu Reeves, exploring the science, art, and impact of digital cinematography. Side by Side is part of the permanent collections of MoMA, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the George Eastman Museum.
Chris’s accolades include an Emmy Award for his work on the short documentary Out of the Shadows, produced by Newsday, and the Grand Prize at MTV’s World AIDS Day Film Festival for his heartfelt short film Dear Barbra, a tribute to his mother.
