Side By Side

I am the Director of Photography on this documentary that investigates the history, process and workflow of both digital and photochemical film creation. We show what artists and filmmakers have been able to accomplish with both film and digital and how their needs and innovations have helped push filmmaking in new directions. Interviews with directors, cinematographers, colorists, scientists, engineers and artists reveal their experiences and feelings about working with film and digital–where we are now, how we got here and what the future may bring.   Be sure to catch it this year at various film festivals, VOD and theaters this summer.

Dennis and Lois

Dennis and Lois have been a fixture on the Rock n Roll scene for the last 4 decades. From selling merchandise for The Ramones in the 70′s, to having a song named after them by The Happy Mondays, in the 90′s, this eccentric couple has been attending rock shows three nights a week since they met in 1977. Today, at 64 years old, drawn to the music and energy of live performances, they can still be found at shows everywhere from Brooklyn to Manchester.   This is my next feature documentary and should be released sometime in 2013.

Days on Earth — The Story of Freddy Frogs

While editing the first version of this film, the iconic Freddy Frogs suddenly passed away. With even more interviews and a different perspective, I have decided to re-cut the original version of “Days On Earth” to tell a more complete story of this rockabilly legend.  Stay tuned for release details.
